collaborative work between
cooperative & smallholder farmers

KJP Cipta Prima Sejahtera is a cooperative (co-op) that accommodates local oil palm smallholder farmers. It manages the plantation operations from planting to the distribution to processing plants. The co-op is then purchasing the FFBs in accordance with market price and adding the capital support for the farmers. From the co-op, FFBs are purchased by Palm Oil Mill (POM) at market price. Since the co-op is also the shareholder in the POM, it receives the annual dividend that will later on can be distributed to smallholder farmers who are also the members of the co-op.

building consumer trust with sustainable palm oil plantations

To create transparency between smallholder farmers, the co-op, and the Palm Oil Mill, blockchain technology is highly required. Our technology will be used by the co-op (KJP-CPS) to conduct operations of the plantations, while their farmers can use mobile phone application from Tania to input production data and field operations using their smartphones. From there, the data can be used by sustainability standards organisations, governments, and auditors. End consumers then can access final verified product information to make consumption decision.
